Gifts for Her

I always found it the easiest to shop for my sister and mom. You can just walk into a Target
and pick anything and they'll be more than happy!

Gifts for Him

It's no secret that guys are notorious for being impossible to shop for. I've come up with
a few ideas that should help you shop for any guy.

Gifts for the Decorator

This was my favorite gift guide to make, I would buy every single item in it. Especially that ottoman, how cute! These items would be great for someone moving or planning to move
into a new space in the future!

Gifts for the Chef

These gifts are so fun & perfect for any Martha Stewart in the kitchen. I love gifting cookbooks or anything from the Kate Spade kitchen collection!

Gifts for the Fitness Lover

Have a friend training for a race or obsessed with cycling? Well this list will be perfect when it comes to sparking some shopping inspiration. You can never go wrong with getting them athletic clothes or accessories!

Gifts for the Fashionista

This guide can also apply to any of your girlfriends, who are stylish and trendy. Besides
who can resist a comfy sweater or pretty earrings?

Gifts for the Traveler

This gift guide is made for the wanderlust. Anyone who finds themselves in the airport on the daily or exploring new places. These gifts would be so thoughtful for anyone who frequently flies.

Gifts for the Beauty Guru

Beauty Gurus would be content being gifted any kind of hair products, makeup, nail polish, or anything found at Sephora! I personally love shopping for this kind of stuff, everything is so asethetically pleasing and pretty.

Gifts for the Outdoorsy

I personally love the outdoors, from camping to canoeing to hammocking, I am always happiest when I'm outside and exploring. These items would be perfect for anyone who loves to do the same!

Fall Wishlist

Nothing marks fall quite like the beginning of college football. Mississippi State has their opener next Saturday vs Charleston Southern, and Texas A&M takes on UCLA next Sunday. Even though the weather has reached sweater season I am still in fall mode. I wanted to come on here and give y'all a look at things I'm looking to purchase and still this fall season.

1. Pleat Hem Camisole
This tank comes in so many different colors and would look cute layered under a cardigan.

2. Ruffle Hem Top
Would y'all believe me if I said this is from Abercrombie & Fitch? That's right A&F have stepped up their game lately and have some great pieces, this top is super simple and has various color options.

3. Tie Sleeve Blouse
This top is so elegant, and also comes in ivory.

4. Pullover Sweater
I was perusing Madewell's website and immediately fell in love with this sweater, it reminds me of Laura Ingalls Wilder in a good way!

5. Ex-Boyfriend Slim Crop Jeans
I always seem to put off buying distressed boyfriend jeans just with it being so difficult to find a pair that I like. But this just might be the pair, they are pricey so I have my fingers crossed that they'll go on sale soon!

6. Seychelles Boots
These come in a brown color that I really like.

7. Layered Gold Necklaces
There is nothing I love more than a good layered gold necklace set.

Also an update on a new posting schedule, I have decided to post every Wednesday & Saturday!

How I Organize & Schedule Posts

The blog has been pretty quiet with new content, which may have something to do with fall classes starting just a week ago. Being a college blogger is more difficult than anticipated, with trying to juggle classes, studying, working out, eating, sleeping, and blogging it can be a little bit overwhelming. My freshman year I learned what works best for me and what doesn't when it comes to making sure I'm posting consistently and still involved in the blogging community.

Back to College: 6 Dorm Room Move-In Tips

I remember how anxious I was on the drive down to college. The 12-hour drive, intermittent with stops for BBQ in Memphis, a photo-op with a with a massive Superman replica, and hysteria because being stuck in a jam-packed car can do that to you, was fun but nerve-wracking. There were a few tips I picked up during move-in day that I hope will help y'all with your big move-in!

Back to College: Backpack Essentials

The back-to-school season is in full-swing, well it has been since the middle of July. Shopping for school supplies and clothes is a great mask to shield the fact that your summer is coming to a close. This is the first of many 'Back to College' posts that'll help the transition move seamlessly.

Birmingham, AL Bucket List

Just the other week my friend and traveled to Tuscaloosa, AL for the day, and it managed to get me into a travel kick. The past few weeks I have been watching so many travel vlogs, and pinning lots of travel pins on Pinterest. As much as I'd love to travel internationally, I also think there are many cool & unique cities in the states that are waiting to be explored!

Navy Dress for the 4th

Dress: Wisch Boutique (on sale!) // Earrings: Ruffled Rain (only $14!)
Shoes: Luxe Angel Boutique (currently 50% off)

Happy 4th of July!

Following Christmas, the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday! With the backyard barbecues, fireworks, parades, and most importantly giving honor to our fallen and deployed soldiers. It's a great reminder to remember that no nation is perfect, but the freedom we are allowed is beyond measure. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and stays safe!

White Lace Romper

Sandals: Steve Madden

I have been seeing this style of romper EVERYWHERE! It comes in so many different lengths and colors. I got this beautiful white one from Arrow + Ivy, an adorable online boutique. I paired it with their tassel earrings, which they have in three more colors! After you add everyone of their New Arrivals to your cart (it's inevitable) find them on their social media - Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter!

7 Must Have Shoes for College

Dorm rooms are infamous for having limited space, and shoes can easily start to take over your minuscule closet. As a shoe connoisseur, I have fell victim to this many times. With that in mind, I have compiled a list of the shoes every college girl will need and use in her wardrobe!
